Pictures from Apple Orchard

So I took some pictures of when I was at the orchard(my husband didn't want to be in it lol) and a few pics of how many apples we got!(a whole freakin' lot!)

Here is my comparison of the bag of apples and my bulky laptop(with a few keys missing)

Of course, nothing new can be on the ground without my 2 cats Oscar and Bernard smelling it, and the cat featured in the following photos is Oscar, but we call him 'Ox'-er because he runs into things like a big Ox!

So here he is smelling the enormous amount of apples in these two photos:

Oh my, oh my!

So my husband and I went to the apple orchard at Hy's farm, and it was AWESOME! To tell you the truth, before we even left for the orchard on Sunday morning, my husband just wanted to stay home and sleep in! I dragged him out of bed, and once we were there, his eyes we just lit up! He was so happy to be there, he was asking if I would mind growing an orchard like that one, and "live like Amish people do". Ha, tell me about a 180 degree turn in attitude!

I still can't believe that I have lived almost 19 years of my life without trying fresh apple cider before! California is nice, but I believe Michigan has true hidden gems! Here is this video from a Cider Mill in Northville, MI! I can't believe Michigan has that 113 cider mills!

That is AWESOME!

Going to the Orchard....

Gonna pick me lotsa APPLES! Yay! I have never went to an apple orchard before, and Michigan has so many of them, so my husband and I are going! I love apple cider(who knew something so dirty looking would be so delicious?!) and at the orchard they make 'homemade' cider. My husband and I were having a hard time deciding which one to go to, Hy's Cider Mill, or Blake's Farms, since we don't have any children and the youngest kid we are related to is my sister-in-law who is going to be 15, we are trying to go to Hy's instead of Blake's. Blake's seems real cool though, the kid in me was so excited! What is your favorite place to go to for apples and cider(oh, and fresh pumpkins too)?
